Because of our birth nature, we all have our own willful ideas and we all do every sort of behavior that seems right in our own eyes. God did not give us His laws to condemn us, but rather to reveal to us that we are condemned already…
The Good News is that God has demonstrated His great love for us in that while we were yet sinners God became our propitiation and died for us in our place. Then, having raised Himself from the dead He became the first fruits of the resurrection and He wants to lavish His love on us and restore us to eternal life in Him!
You’re right, a loving God would not send us to hell – but don’t be deceived, our rejection of God’s Solution most certainly will. Ask yourself: If we reject so great a Salvation how then can we be saved?
Homo-sexuality is a perversion against our own bodies and is called an abomination in God’s Word. Some may not have a propensity toward homosexuality, but let’s not forget that ALL unrighteous people including fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, liars, abusers of themselves with mankind, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners, will not inherit the kingdom of God.
